Hey John, have followed you from Medium to here. I am seriously considering helping you pay the rent and buy snack foods by subscribing to 150 Word Reviews, but right now I'm kind of skint. Anyway, I saw KOTFM last night... wow! Loved it. I'd read the book and didn't quite know how Scorsese was going portray it all, and I'm pleased to say he was incredibly true to the novel. The fact that I didn't look at my watch once (which I admit I did during Oppenheimer) tells me the 3.5 hour duration isn't an issue... in my opinion the movie is exactly the right length... and let's face it, if Scorsese hadn't ended it the way he did, it could have gone on for another hour - easily!
